GOT STARTED
Operation Renewed Hope was founded in 1991 by Jan Milton, formerly the pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC.
His vision is to use surplus supplies and equipment donated by hospitals, corporations and manufacturers in the United States, and make them available to areas of the world that are in desparate need of this type of relief.
THE MISSION OF ORH IS:
- To provide the opportunity for all men and women to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is his death, burial and resurrection.
- To provide relief from physical and mental suffering to nations by: shipping medical, educational and non-food humanitarian supplies and equipment, building medical facilities, and operating short-term medical clinics in remote locations.
- To provide opportunities for medical professionals, laypersons, and teens to serve God through short-term and long-term missions.
HOW ORH HELPS THOSE IN NEED
ORH uses the United States military and other key logistics and warehouse providers to transport donations, medical, educational and non-food humanitarian supplies and equipment to desparate areas worldwide.
Care teams made up of professional and non-professional volunteers then utilize this equipment to bring much needed relief and hope to those in need.
