ORH Team Peru will travel to Pilcopata, Peru, with Missionary Buddy Fitzgerald to work with national pastor Alex Herrera to reach surrounding villages with medical care and the Gospel. There is an existing church in Pilcopata, and Pastor Alex desires to plant a new church in the nearby village of Patria. We will host a clinic at both locations. We need Medical and Non-medical volunteers. 

Medical Services: General Medicine, Dental Care, and Optometry

Spiritual: Gospel presentation during pharmacy time

Church: We will help strengthen an existing church and help with a new church plant. 

Insurance: Emergency Evacuation Insurance Provided.  You may purchase your own travel insurance.

Degree of Difficulty:  Difficulty.  Long Air Travel.  High Altitude in Cusco.  The clinic site is in the jungle at a lower altitude.  We will have long travel by bus through mountainous terrain.  Accommodations will be basic and adequate in a jungle Hostel.  Bathroom facilities will be primitive at times.
